# Add Group - icom Connectivity Suite - VPN

> Before adding groups, it is recommended to consider a reasonable organization of the devices into groups

1. Click on the Add group button on the *Groups* tab in the [classic user interface](/kb/docs/icom-connectivity-suite-overview-en) to open the dialogue for creating a new group.
2. Enter a *Group name* that describes the group so clearly that it can be distinguished from other groups.
3. **Optionally** check the *Allow group members to connect* checkbox if the devices within this group should be able to establish connections with each other. This sets the setting in the *Internal Connections* column to **Allowed**.
4. Click on OK to add the group.

The group appears in the [group list](/kb/docs/icom-connectivity-suite-vpn-groups).
