What is the MAC address of the router?

Prev Next

Each router has five MAC addresses, which are assigned in sequence to each configured IP network. From the sixth IP network onwards, the MAC address is generated randomly. Alternatively, the MAC address can also be assigned user-defined when configuring the IP network (  to extended view). Randomly generated MAC addresses are retained after the device is restarted and are only regenerated after a reset to default settings. User-defined MAC addresses are stored in the profile.

The MAC addresses of the individual IP networks can be found on the StatusDashboard page in the Extended Information -> IP addresses ->  Status Information section. The first MAC address can also be found on the device label.
