Each [profile](https://docs.insys-icom.com/kb/docs/en/profiles-and-profile-handling-en) has a unique hash to ensure its integrity. The hash of a profile changes when the profile or firmware is changed. As the hash is also device-specific, two identical devices with identical profiles and firmware also have a different hash. The hash can therefore be used, for example, to detect changes to the configuration of a specific device.
