Prev Next

The My VPN Hub tab shows important information regarding this VPN network. This data might be important for the manual configuration of third-party devices for example.

The Company Name in the heading corresponds to the name that was assigned when registering the account.

Account Information

The Account Information field displays important information about this account.

  • The Instance ID is a unique number for identifying an account.

  • The Customer Name is generated from the company name entered during registration and is required for the startup wizard on INSYS routers, among other things.

  • The Default Code is used as device code, if no own device code is specified for a device. The device code is required for the startup wizard of INSYS routers and access via a web proxy. Click on for the following options:

    • Show default code - displays the currently set default code

    • Copy default code - copies the currently set default code to the clipboard

    • Edit default code - changes the currently set default code

  • The Status page link opens a page that provides an overview of the operating status of this instance. The default code above is required as the password.

Account Owner (Contact Partner)

The Account Owner (Contact Partner) field displays the Username of the user who receives system messages from the VPN service, as well as his E-mail address, to which these messages are sent.

Server Informationen

The Server Information field displays information about the VPN server.

Click on RESTART INSTANCE, to manually restart this VPN instance if necessary.

The information for VPN Server, VPN Port and VPN Range is important for the manual VPN configuration of third-party devices (PCs). The VPN port specifies the UDP port on which the icom Connectivity Suite – VPN accepts OpenVPN tunnels. The user must ensure that outgoing UDP traffic for the router is permitted and replies are allowed (e.g. open this port in the firewall).

Certificate renewal specifies the interval at which device certificates are automatically renewed.

Under VPN logs, select the time range for the log, then click DOWNLOADN  to download a log containing all events on the VPN server.

VPN Licence Informationen

In the VPN License Information field, you will find the customer number of INSYS and the partner, as well as the contract number used when ordering this license.

Custom Fields

Click on ADD NEW CUSTOM FIELD to add a custom field for the tables of devices, licenses, and SIM cards. With the help of such fields, you can add further user-defined information to your devices, licenses, and SIM cards.

The visible columns of the list can be set by a click on COLUMNS. A FILTER enables to filter the list for the desired content. Changes to columns and applied filters will be reset the next time the page is loaded.

EXPORT allows to export the visible content of the list after applying the filters to a CSV file (saved in the browser's download directory) or to print it. The name of the CSV file contains the time at which the data was generated and does not necessarily correspond to the time of export.

Depending on the configuration of the visible columns, the table contains the following columns:

  • The Table column shows in which table this custom field is displayed.

  • The Field name column displays the name of this custom field.

  • The Description column displays a description for this custom field.

  • The List fields column displays the list fields defined for this custom field.

  • The Actions column permits to edit ( ) or delete ( ) this custom field
