Licences - icom Connectivity Suite - VPN

Using the icom Connectivity Suite - VPN is bound to the purchase of VPN licences. All licences are listed in a table on the Licences page. New licences can also be ordered here.

The Licence information page can be opened using the dropdown list Licences. The selection can be narrowed down by entering a search string.

The timestamp indicates the last update of the licence list in the table. A click on updates the list.

New licences can be ordered using the + ORDER LICENSES button. This opens the respective dialogue.

The visible columns of the list can be set by a click on COLUMNS. A FILTER enables to filter the list for the desired content. Changes to columns and applied filters will be reset the next time the page is loaded.

EXPORT allows to export the visible content of the list after applying the filters to a CSV file (saved in the browser's download directory) or to print it. The name of the CSV file contains the time at which the data was generated and does not necessarily correspond to the time of export.

Depending on the configuration of the visible columns, the table contains the following columns:

  • The ID column lists the unique identification number of this licence. This identifier cannot be changed to ensure continuous tracking. A click on the ID takes you to the Licence information of this licence.

  • The name of this licence is listed in the Name column. The name assigned by the icom Connectivity Suite – VPN can also be edited with a click on the ID in the Licence information.

  • The Device column lists the device in the icom Connectivity Suite – VPN to which this licence is assigned to. A click on the device takes you to the Device information of this device.

  • The Scope column lists the type of the licence, which defines the scope of this licence. The two licence types are Unrestricted and Flexible.

  • The Valid until column lists the end of the validity period of this licence.

  • The Renewal column indicates the duration for which this licence will be renewed upon expiry. Unrestricted licences can be set to Not Set, 1 Year and 2 Years. Flexible licences can be set to Do not renew (expire at the end of the month) or Monthly (are automatically renewed at the end of the month).

  • The Free column indicates whether this licence has been made available free of charge. Contact your distributor to discuss the options for free licences.

  • The Contract no. column indicates with which Contract number this licence has been ordered. This number is used when invoicing new or renewed licences.

  • The Order no. (Customer) column indicates the customer's order number used to order this licence. This is an optional reference added by INSYS icom at the customer's request.

  • The Order no. (INSYS) column indicates the order number used to fulfil this license. This is an optional reference provided by INSYS icom.

  • The Customer no. (INSYS) column indicates the INSYS customer number used to order this license. This is an optional reference provided by INSYS icom.

  • The Customer no. (Partner) column indicates the INSYS partner number used to order this license. This is an optional reference provided by INSYS icom.

Please note!

The order and customer numbers can be updated when ordering new licences or renewing licences.
