The icom Connectivity Suite is a portal that consists of two services, the VPN service icom Connectivity Suite – VPN as well as the SIM card management-tool icom Connectivity Suite – M2M SIM.
The icom Connectivity Suite - VPN is a service of INSYS icom for the simple and secure network connection of locations, plants, control centers and mobile devices via a Virtual Private Network.
The icom Connectivity Suite – M2M SIM is a tool for the convenient management of M2M SIM cards from INSYS icom.
Both products are independent, but share a common portal. Upon logging in into the portal of the icom Connectivity Suite, the icom Connectivity Suite – M2M SIM is operated in a separate web interface.
In order to be able to use the icom Connectivity Suite, you must register with it first. With the registration, you subscribe for a 30-day free test access to the icom Connectivity Suite – VPN with full functional scope that allows you to register and manage a maximum of 4 devices for operation in the OpenVPN network. The free test phase ends automatically after 30 days. Refer to your sales representative to obtain regular licenses. When purchasing M2M SIM cards of INSYS icom, the icom Connectivity Suite - M2M SIM will automatically be activated for you.
Online registration
It is prerequisite that you have Internet access.
Open the portal of the icom Connectivity Suite:
Select your preferred language in the footer and click on Create an account.
Enter your Company legal name.
Please note!
The company legal name entered here will then be used to generate the customer name that is used to log in to the icom Connectivity Suite – VPN using the quick start wizard of the INSYS icom devices. Blanks will be replaced with underscores and special characters will be converted in this process.
Select your Country.
Enter your company’s address, telephone number, website and VAT registration number.
Click on Next.
Enter your Name and Last name.
Enter your User Login Name.
Please note!
The user name serves for registration to the web interface of the icom Connectivity Suite.
Enter your Contact business e-mail address.
Enter your Password and repeat the entry.
Confirm that you are authorised to act on behalf of your organisation by checking the corresponding checkbox.
Read the Terms & Conditions and confirm your acceptance by checking the corresponding checkbox.
Click on Register.
You will be notified about the incoming e-mail.Click on the activation link in the e-mail that has been sent to above specified e-mail address.
You will be notified about the activation of your account.Click on To login.
Log in to the icom Connectivity Suite using the data that has been sent after above activation to verify a successful registration.
You have now registered your account for the icom Connectivity Suite and can proceed with
Setting up a VPN network
Add an INSYS router with icom OS or INSYS OS to the icom Connectivity Suite - VPN
Add a third-party device, such as a remote access PC or a PLC, to the icom Connectivity Suite - VPN
Managing your M2M SIM cards in the icom Connectivity Suite - M2M SIM
Troubleshooting
Pay attention to the correct spelling of Company name, E-mail address, User Login name and Password as well as the mandatory fields.
Check your spam folder if you don’t receive the activation mail within a few minutes.
