The Devices page lists all devices registered in the icom Connectivity Suite - VPN in a table. This is also where devices are created and managed.
A distinction is made between INSYS icom routers and other third-party devices. These can be PCs, controllers, cameras, other routers, etc. that support OpenVPN. They are collectively referred to as 3rd party devices in the icom Connectivity Suite - VPN.
The device information page can be opened using the dropdown list Devices. The selection can be narrowed down by entering a search string.
The timestamp indicates the last update of the device list in the table. A click on updates the list.
New devices can be added using the + ADD DEVICE button. This opens the respective dialogue. |
The visible columns of the list can be set by a click on COLUMNS. A FILTER enables to filter the list for the desired content. Changes to columns and applied filters will be reset the next time the page is loaded.
EXPORT allows to export the visible content of the list after applying the filters to a CSV file (saved in the browser's download directory) or to print it. The name of the CSV file contains the time at which the data was generated and does not necessarily correspond to the time of export.
Depending on the configuration of the visible columns, the table contains the following columns:
The ID column shows the unique identification number for this device. This identifier cannot be changed in order to ensure continuous tracking. If a warning symbol is displayed here, the device should be updated. Clicking on the ID will take you to the device information for this device. Here you will also find further information about any warnings.
The Name column shows the name of this device. The name assigned when the device was created can also be edited for routers by clicking on the ID in the device information.
The Type column shows the device type. The device type is specified when the device is created and cannot be changed.
icom OS - INSYS router with the operating system icom OS (MRX, MIRO, MRO, ECR and SCR)
INSYS OS - INSYS router with the operating system INSYS OS (MoRoS, EBW and IMON)
3rd Party - PCs or devices such as controllers, cameras or other third-party routers
The Serial no. column shows the serial number of this INSYS router. The serial number is set when the router is created and cannot be changed. No serial number is registered for third-party devices.
The Status column shows the connection status of this device with a delay of 1-2 minutes.
Online - the device is connected to the icom Connectivity Suite - VPN
Offline - the device is not connected to the icom Connectivity Suite - VPN
Deactivated - the device has been deactivated, i.e., the checkbox is checked in the classic view (user interface).
No licence - no license is assigned to the device or the assigned license has expired (the checkbox is also deactivated in the classic view, but this status appears as long as no license is assigned to the device)
The Since column indicates since when this device is in this state.
The Group column indicates to which group this device is assigned to. To change the group, click on arrow u left top in the title bar to switch back to the classic view and change the group there.
The Accessible IP column indicates the IP address under which this device can be accessed.
The Licence column indicates the licence that is assigned to this device. A click on the Licence takes you to the Licence information of this licence. The licence can have three different states:
the licence is valid
the licence is about to expire (within 7 days for monthly licences and 7 weeks for all other licences)
the licence has expired
The OpenVPN version of the client is displayed in the OpenVPN column.
The Firmware version of the router is displayed in the Firmware column. For older firmware versions, a range or only the basic version may be displayed instead of the exact version.
The ICCID/USIM column shows the ICCID of the USIM (SIM card) inserted in this device.
If additional custom fields are available, these will also appear in the table.
