Proceed as follows to add a new device to icom Connectivity Suite - VPN.
Click on the VPN → Devices page on + ADD DEVICE and select the type of the device to be added in the Add device window.
icom OS - INSYS router with the operating system icom OS (MRX, MIRO, MRO, ECR and SCR)
INSYS OS - INSYS router with the operating system INSYS OS (MoRoS, EBW and IMON)
3rd Party - PCs or devices such as controllers, cameras or other third-party routers
Adding an icom OS router
Enter the Device Serial number. The serial number is on the label on the device.
Enter a Device name that describes the device clearly that it can be distinguished from other devices.
Assign an available Licence to the device..
Only if your icom Connectivity Suite is configured for China VPN: Specify whether the device to be added is installed in mainland China or another country in the world.
Activate Default monitoring if the accessibility of the device is to be monitored.
Optionally, enter a Device code. This is used for router configuration via the quick start wizard. If no individual device code is specified here, the default code is used (configurable on the My VPN Hub page). Moreover, this code will also be used as password for accessing the router via a web proxy.
Click on NEXT.
Assign a Group to the device.
Enter the Accessible IP address together with the Netmask via which the device should be accessible in the VPN network.
Select the IP Net of the router to which the device is to be assigned.
Activate the Netmapping checkbox and enter the Router/LAN IP to which the netmapping is supposed to take place and which the router has in the local network. If netmapping is not enabled, there is no netmapping and the router will be configured to the previously specified Accessible IP.
Optionally, click on the + ADD NEW NETWORK button to add another network of this router to the VPN network.
Proceed as described for the first network to add this additional router network to the VPN network.
Assign this additional router network to a port on the router.
Now check the assignments of the networks to the ports and adjust them if necessary by selecting the options Assign nets to ports manually or Do not configure nets or ports.
Click on ADD to add the router to the icom Connectivity Suite - VPN.
The router appears in the Devices list.
Adding an INSYS OS router
Enter the Device Serial number. The serial number is on the label on the device.

Adding a third-party device (PC client)
Enter a Device name that describes the device clearly that it can be distinguished from other devices.
Assign an available Licence to the device.
Only if your icom Connectivity Suite is configured for China VPN: Specify whether the device to be added is installed in mainland China or another country in the world.
Activate Default monitoring if the accessibility of the device is to be monitored.
Click on NEXT.
Optional configuration of an additional authentication!
You can optionally configure an additional authentication in one or two (2FA) levels here. This authentication is always required when the client connects to the icom Connectivity Suite - VPN.
If an additional authentication is configured, an authentication link (which appears on the Device Information page) must be sent to the PC user, who must then open it within 8 hours to complete the device registration. After this period has expired, the device must be deleted and recreated for re-registration.

Check optionally the checkbox Require password authentication to connect that the user of the PC has to enter a password to connect to the icom Connectivity Suite - VPN.
Check optionally the checkbox Activate 2-factor authentication using a time-based, one-time password (TOTP) that the user of the PC has to enter a one-time password in addition to the password to connect to the icom Connectivity Suite - VPN.
Assign a Group to the device.
Enter the Accessible IP address together with the Netmask via which the device should be accessible in the VPN network.
Click on ADD to add the PC client to the icom Connectivity Suite - VPN.
The PC client appears in the Devices list.
